Listening to: Be Be Your Love - Rachael Yamagata
I know I know... long time no visit. I mean, my god- it's been (almost) an entire year! That's not to say I haven't visited, I just didn't show my face. It couldn't even be called lurking, since those visits were something like 4 to 6 months apart.
Over an entire year there's bound to be changes in my life but if I spilled it all, that would make for one hell of a long entry, so I'll just stick to the relevant bit(s.)
I haven't stopped creating art; but most of it has moved beyond digital and I just haven't found a conversion method that meets to my approval, so most of it probably won't ever show up here in my gallery. The reason for the shift of medium is actually quite simple: after 8-10 hour days spent in front of a computer whilst at work, I just can't bring myself to be in front of one at home as well. Plus- digital just can't compete with the sensation of real, actual paint, paper and canvas.
I have recently sold a few items of my paper work. One, a realism study of Mother Teresa, has had a lot of attention and I've had to have prints made. Limited edition of course- now that's there only five prints left, I can charge double
